Standardized What?
You might be asking yourself, "Is he ok? Why is he wearing a hospital gown?" The good news is I’m not sick and I don’t need to be in the hospital. Over the course of the spring, I’ve been at University of Cincinnati Medical working as a standardized patient. For those who don’t know a standardized patient is a person who plays the role of a real patient to help medical students learn and be evaluated in a simulated environment. It is a fun, challenging experience and has proven to be another great way to use theatre skills for the greater good.
